Principle Spanish Holidays:
There are many Holidays, Saints days, Ferias (Fairs), Fiestas etc. all year round in Spain. But during the National, Provincial and local holidays it is wise to bear in mind that many of the business and services will be shut. Here are the main holidays:
1st January - Ano Nuevo (New Year).
6th January - Día de los Reyes (Day of the Kings), Procession on the evening of the 5th January.
28th February - Día de los Andalucia.
19th March - San Jose.
1st May - Día del Trabajo.
24th June - San Juan.
25th July – Santiago.
15th August – Asuncion.
12th October Hispanidad.
1st November - Todos los Santos (All Saints Day).
8th December - Inmaculada Concepcion (Immaculate Conception).
25th December - Navidad (Christmas).
