The historic town of Benalmádena lies on the southern coast of Spain on the Costa del Sol, between the towns of Torremolinos and Fuengirola. It is twenty minutes west of Malaga airport by taxi – close enough for convenience and far enough that it is not under the flight path. It is accessed via the N340 motorway, making other towns and cities such as Marbella, Granada and Seville easily accessible.

The municipality is divided into three distinct parts, Benalmádena Pueblo, Benalmádena Costa and Arroyo de la Miel. It's where actor Antonio Banderas comes from, and he and Melanie Griffith often visit Benalmádena's attractive marina.

We are situated on Benalmádena Costa, which is the coastal strip of the municipality, enjoying a 9-kilometer stretch of attractive beaches and all the sporting and leisure possibilities of a busy resort town. You can stroll down one of the most attractive promenades in Europe and enjoy the relaxing blend of sea and sand as you're drawn in to seafront restaurants and shops.

The marina is man-made, created using artificial islands and has its own special ambience. Voted "Best Marina in the World" in 1995, it also boasts some particularly attractive architecture. Fishing trips and sightseeing trips by boat can be booked at the marina, or by calling one of the telephone numbers on the contacts / links page.

Boasting over 300 days of sunshine each year the mild winters, and pleasant summers, mean the long stretches of clean sandy beaches can be enjoyed for most of the year. The beaches are easily accessible as our apartment is situated less than five minutes walk from the coastline, with the nearest beach – playa Torrevigia – immediately across from the apartments.
